Since our site sign went up earlier this year we have received many encouraging emails and requests for more information from eager purchasers and other interested parties. We certainly appreciate your continued interest in 825 Taché Avenue as we move along with this development!
To date, we have received feedback from the City of Winnipeg on our development pre-application and have used their comments to make our formal development application. Our application includes zoning changes, as outlined in our Offer to Purchase with the City of Winnipeg, which are to: (1) create one separate parcel, as shown as “City Property to be retained for Riverbanks to be re-zoned to “PR1” (Parks); and, (2) create the necessary parcels to facilitate the consolidation of the Lane Closing with the adjacent lands contained within the limits of the area identified on Misc. Plan No. 14209/5. As per an amendment to the Offer to Purchase, we would like to have the consolidated lands rezoned RMU to accommodate the commercial units that we are looking to have on Taché Avenue. We are also requesting a Lane Closing of a partial rear lane that will be consolidated into the parcel.
We are anticipating our application being heard at September 12 Riel Community Committee meeting.
